Court filing waiver

Court filing waiver

If you are unable to afford the court filing fee, you may be eligible for a court filing fee waiver — a legal option that allows you to request a reduction of the fee based on financial hardship. Most courts offer this option for individuals who are unemployed, receiving public assistance, or whose income falls below a certain threshold.

To apply for a fee waiver, you will need to complete a specific form (such as an “Affidavit of Indigency” or “Application for Waiver of Court Fees”), provide documentation proving your financial situation, and submit the application along with your divorce papers. The court will review your application and decide whether to approve your request. The Fee Waiver costs $100 ($25 Court Fee + $75 Our E-Filing Service Fee).

Our team can guide you through this process and help prepare the necessary paperwork to support your application.
Notes
Please let us know in advance if you believe you may qualify for a waiver, so we can take the appropriate steps before submitting your case to court.
