Overview of the Online Documents Review and Notarization Process

The online review and notarization process is designed to be efficient, secure, and user-friendly, allowing you and your spouse to review and notarize your divorce documents from the comfort of your home. You can complete the notarization process from your smartphone, tablet, or computer — no in-person visit required — as long as you have a valid government-issued ID and internet access. The process involves several key steps to comply with the laws of the state in which you are filing your divorce.

Each state has a requirement where the petitioner needs to sign and notarize the documents before the respondent. Our custom-built tool has implemented a procedure where we protect both petitioner and respondent in order to have them fully aligned with the information that is in the drafted documents.

This review process is established in order to reduce the potential errors that would increase the time to get the divorce granted. It also makes sure that you and your spouse both agree on the terms.

Therefore, the entire process is always a 4-step process:
  1. Petitioner's documents review
  2. Respondent's documents review
  3. Petitioner's documents notarization
  4. Respondent's documents notarization
