Split and Full payment model for Document drafting

Split and Full payment model for Document drafting

When using our service to prepare divorce documents, we offer flexible payment options to accommodate your financial situation and preferences. Whether you prefer to pay all at once or in two manageable parts, our Split and Full Payment Model is designed to provide both convenience and transparency throughout your experience.

Full payment model

The Full Payment model is the most straightforward and efficient option. By selecting this method, you make a single upfront payment that covers the complete cost of your document drafting service. This model ensures that your case is prioritized and allows us to begin processing your documents immediately.
Key benefits:
      1. Immediate start: We begin drafting your documents without delay as soon as payment is confirmed.
      2. Streamlined communication: No further billing or reminders are necessary, allowing us to focus entirely on your case.
      3. Faster turnaround: Since there are no interruptions for additional payments, your completed divorce paperwork is often delivered more quickly.

Idea
This option is ideal for individuals who are ready to proceed without interruption and want the most seamless experience possible.

Split payment model

The Split Payment model offers clients the opportunity to divide the cost of document drafting into two equal parts. This allows for more manageable budgeting while still committing to a structured and professional legal preparation process.
Here’s how it works:
      1. Initial Payment: You make the first payment after registration and submission of your initial answers through our Divorce Portal. This signals your intention to move forward and allows us to open your file.
      2. Paralegal Review: Once our paralegal receives your completed questionnaire, they conduct a detailed review of your responses to ensure all required information has been provided and that your case is eligible for drafting.
      3. Second Payment – Before Drafting Begins: After this review — and only if the paralegal confirms that your case is fully prepared for drafting — we will request the second half of your payment. This is a crucial step. We intentionally do not begin drafting documents until the second payment has been made.

This procedure protects both parties: it ensures our team doesn’t begin working on a complex legal draft without full financial commitment from the client, and it ensures that you are only asked to complete payment
once we’ve verified your case is ready.

IdeaBy splitting the payment, clients can initiate the process without paying the full amount upfront, but it’s important to understand that progress beyond the paralegal review will only continue once the final portion is settled.

Key benefits:
      1. Financial flexibility: Spread out the cost to avoid a larger single payment.
      2. No impact on document quality: Your documents will be prepared with the same attention to detail and care as with full payment.
      3. Progress updates provided: You’ll stay informed throughout the process and will know exactly when the second payment is due.
This model is ideal for clients who are committed to moving forward with the divorce process but need a short window to finalize their payment.

   Important notes about both models

      1. Regardless of the payment model you choose, your questionnaire responses and account progress are saved securely in your client Divorce Portal.
      2. You will have access to support and communication from our team throughout the process.
      3. Court fees, if applicable, are not included in either payment model and are paid separately to the court when the documents are filed (see Court Fee Payment Methods for more information).
